WHAT TO EXPECT

A Sunday Morning at Christian Tabernacle

Whether you've been in church your whole life or you're walking through our doors for the very first time, here's what a typical Sunday looks like.

Arrive & Be Welcomed

Doors open at 9:00 AM. Our greeters will welcome you at the entrance, help you find a seat, and answer any questions. We're a warm, friendly church — don't be surprised if someone introduces themselves!

Praise & Worship

Service begins at 10:30 AM with uplifting music and congregational worship led by our Music Ministry. Feel free to participate.

Scripture & The Message

Senior Pastor Rev. Keith A. King delivers a biblically grounded, practical message drawn from scripture. Messages are relatable, engaging, and centered on real life.

Prayer & Altar Call

Following the message, there is a time of prayer and an opportunity to respond to the Word. This is always voluntary; never pressured.

Fellowship & Connection

After the service, stick around and meet people. We'd love to introduce you to the CTBC family. First-time guests are always welcome to connect with our pastoral team.

FOR YOUR FAMILY

There's a Place for Everyone's Gifts

From infants to young adults, CTBC offers age-appropriate environments so every member of your family can grow in faith.

MUSIC MINISTRY

Praise through Singing

Share your love of music by joining CTBC's Music Ministry. Through the Praise Team, Youth Choir, Adult Choir, and Men's Choir, members lead the congregation in worship while using their musical gifts to honor God and inspire others.

CHILDREN & PRE-TEENS

Youth Church

Help the next generation grow in faith through biblical teaching, worship, and fellowship. Youth Church provides a welcoming environment where young people can learn, connect, and develop a lasting relationship with Christ.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Dinner for a Dollar

Join us in serving our neighbors through acts of compassion and generosity. From Dinner for a Dollar to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, the Outreach Ministry puts faith into action throughout our community.

COMMON QUESTIONS

We've Got Answers

First-time visitors always have questions. Here are the ones we hear most often.

Do I need to dress up?

Not at all. Come as you are. You'll see everything from suits to jeans on a Sunday morning — what matters is that you're here. CTBC is a warm, come-as-you-are community and we want you to feel comfortable.

Where do I park?

We offer free parking in the adjacent lot, the rear parking lot, and along surrounding streets. The accessible entrance is located from the rear parking lot and includes elevator access to the sanctuary. If you need assistance when you arrive, our parking attendants and greeters will be happy to help.

What if I have young children?

We love families! Youth Church runs concurrently for older children. You're also welcome to keep your little ones with you in the main sanctuary; we're used to it and we love it.

Can I watch a service online before visiting?

Absolutely; we encourage it! Our services are livestreamed every Sunday at 10:30 AM on YouTube and Facebook Live, and past sermons are available on demand anytime at youtube.com/@CTBCofficial. Get a feel for who we are before you walk through the door.

Is there anything expected of me as a first-time visitor?

Nothing at all. Just show up. There's no pressure to give, join anything, or introduce yourself publicly. We believe connection happens naturally when people feel genuinely welcome — and that's exactly the environment we work to create every Sunday.

WE'D LOVE TO SEE YOU

Ready to Join Us This Sunday?

Come as you are. Leave knowing you belong. We can't wait to welcome you to the CTBC family.
